The innovative PALFINGER loading crane remote PALcom P7 sets a benchmark in terms of technology and design. An interdisciplinary team, in which formquadrat looked after various areas, conceived a completely new type of remote control – especially for loading cranes.

formquadrat created the perfect person-machine interface with the remote control with the fitting ergonomically optimised belt systems.

The control ergonomics is intuitive. The hand pads and the arrangement of the operating levers are designed for fatigue-free work. A centrally arranged operating button „Pal-Drive“ and a self explanatory menu navigation with a large colour display ensure simple operation.

For the first time in the field of cranes the new PALcom P7 uses a central 4.1inch TFT-colour display. Thanks to the „transflective“ technology the large display can on the one hand be read very well even in strong sunlight and yet it is energy saving. The operator will thus be informed at all times of the important operating states which are important for him and managed clearly and safely.

New and innovative security concepts were integrated into the remote control. Security features such as tilt- and speed sensors were, for example, installed, which prevent unintended crane movements. If, for example, the console exceeds a certain tilt angle or the radio console falls on the ground, the remote control automatically switches off. Two ergonomically optimised belt systems with generous rests belong to the perfect person-machine-interface, which ensure the perfect wearing comfort.
