nacaboost is a novel vertical wind turbine that combines state-of-the-art technology with intelligent design.

The nacaboost active wing combines a 2.5 kW permanent synchronous generator, an intelligent yaw system for optimal wind tracking and powerful photovoltaic modules. It thus utilises both wind and solar energy and is complemented by a digital ecosystem with cloud-based data analysis and smart tools for individual business models.

Our task was to design an aerodynamically optimised housing that enables maximum efficiency while meeting the formal and functional requirements of a modular energy solution. Working closely with the engineers, we created a design that harmoniously combines aesthetics, ease of maintenance and performance.
