Vooking is a „Concept-Kitchen“ for vegetarian cooking, which was developed by designers in cooperation with a professional chef. The kitchen is aimed at the constantly growing market of vegetarians, vegans and flexitarians as well as for consciously healthy food, which sustainably reduces our ecological footprint. Vooking rethinks the topic from the very basis and divides it into even independent units, as well as active and passive cooking areas. Numerous innovations and a patent were created during the development.
The number of vegetarians, vegans, as well as flexitarians is constantly rising, the reasons being varied. Many prefer vegetarian food in the meantime for health reasons (best-agers), for sustainability reasons (ecological footprint) but also for pure enjoyment (food quality). The VOOKING project will at least positively influence the future of nutrition and cooking.
